Chemical peeling helps to treat wrinkles, age spots / hyperpigmentation, oily, rough skin, acne/acne scars.
Glycolic acid at a concentration of 50-70% is used for chemical peeling in the dermatologist’s office, most optimally after pre-treatment of the skin with a cream with a concentration of 10-15%. The use of different concentrations and different duration of action allows you to change the power of chemical peeling from superficial to medium deep.
After thorough cleaning, a chemical substance is applied to the surface of the skin – glycolic acid, which, with its smallest molecules, easily penetrates between individual skin cells. The interval of action of the active substance is gradually lengthened depending on the individual tolerance of the client. The substance is then neutralized and a soothing cream is applied. The treated area may remain slightly red after the procedure. In the following days, the surface layers of the skin are slightly flaky. After the procedure, it is important to protect the skin from the sun’s rays.
The course of procedures consists of several regularly repeated sessions. One course usually consists of 6-10 procedures, repeated at intervals of 10-14 days. During the year, the procedure can be repeated at intervals of six months.
The purpose of the procedure is to correct or eliminate imperfections that occur on the skin, whether due to age (rough skin, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation) or during the adolescence (acne, oily skin with enlarged pores). An additional advantage of this procedure is the price, which is acceptable for clients, giving the invaluable result.
